Over 300 Dogs Have Been Airlifted to the States.

 April 2021 Critical Airlift

On April 29 and 20 we set out to airlift 76 of our dogs to the States. Many of them were in critical condition and requiring specialized care, and would have died or lived a life of suffering had they not left the island. Both airlifts were successful! The dogs went to two of our rescue partners and are now receiving the best medical care. Now all of these dogs are on the next chapter in their journey to become healthy and find their forever family. All of this was made possible because of our generous supporters who believed in them and trusted in us to do our very best for every precious soul.

“The successful flights that took 76 of my babies on to the beginning of their new lives were the product of so much devotion from all of you that support Pawtcake Refuge. We had an incredible task to achieve... There is no way that we could accomplish what we do without your generosity.

It has been a difficult year for everyone, in so many ways, but you came to our rescue when we asked for help, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We have transported over 300 dogs to the States and Canada in less than 5 months. It never could have happened, if not for the way all of our supporters came together each time we put out the call for funds.”
